A Look at ACR’s Best Ever Year, Headcount Growth and EOT

Employee-owned Adele Carr Recruitment celebrated an outstanding last 12 months at Liverpool’s Cotton Exchange. Not only has the company broken its own financial records and achieved double-digit growth, but they have also significantly expanded their temporary recruitment division. The company's success can be attributed to its investment in its employees with its Employee Ownership Trust taking a majority stake in the business last February and qualifying employees will be looking forward to their first profit-sharing bonus. Branch expansion and robust learning and development have been key features of ACR’s success as it entered its 21st year and the company is targeting 50% growth next year.

Over the last 12 months ACR has increased headcount by 61% and are continually looking for additional high calibre individuals to join the team. The management team was strengthened by the introduction of new Managing Director, Stuart Manford, who started his ACR career in July as founder Adele Carr became Executive Chair.
They have also opened a new office in Wigan to aid in the development of the Business Support division and expanded their Liverpool team leading to the opening of a new office at the Cotton Exchange.

Adele, a Chartered Accountant herself, started the business in 2002 to provide a tailored accountancy recruitment service across the North West. The business has enjoyed great success over the years and now employs a team of highly experienced, specialist consultants in its regional offices – Altrincham, Chester, Chorley, Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, and Wigan.
